Controls
- [WASD] to move

Tools
Tools are a collection of goods that are used to complete non-combat tasks in Terraria, such as construction and exploration, among other things. Tools are often used by pressing the Use / Attack key while holding the active Hotbar item; however, they differ from weapons, which are primarily used to deal damage on foes. Tools differ from accessories in that accessories provide passive abilities, whereas tools are utilized actively. Pickaxes, axes, and hammers are tools that are required at all stages of the game for accurately dismantling world tiles such as put blocks, backdrop walls, plants, and set furniture and converting them to collectible inventory items for re-use or other purposes such as crafting. They can also be used as weak melee weapons, dealing significantly less damage than true weapons of the same tier. The Magic Mirror, which teleports the player back to their spawn spot; hooks, which facilitate travel above and below the earth; the Bucket, which conveys liquid; the Bug Net, which catches animals; and the Wrenches, which are used to construct machines, are all vital tools. Many of these instruments are commonly employed at all phases of the game.
